Agnes C. (Juergens) Price, 89, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Life Care Center of Sullivan.

Agnes was born on her family’s farm near Spring Bluff, MO, on January 21, 1933, to Richard and May (Johann) Schatz. She grew up and attended school at St. Anthony Catholic School. Agnes was united in marriage to William “Bill” Juergens on June 26, 1948. To this union they were blessed with four children: Ron, Nickie, Bridget and Richard. Agnes was a very devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She even helped manage the family business, Juergens Trailer Court. Agnes also loved working as a cook for St. Anthony Catholic School for twelve years. Sadly, Bill passed away in 1999.

Agnes very much enjoyed spending summers in Canada, as well as other trips she took abroad. She also enjoyed cooking, raising flowers, and following her grandkids activities. Agnes was a devout Catholic and an avid volunteer in her community. She was an active member of St. Anthony Ladies Organization, Sullivan Hospital Auxiliary (originally named the Pink Ladies), and she served her pineapple upside down cake at the local KC fish fries.

Agnes married Harland Price in 2009. They enjoyed each other’s companionship in their later years together, whether it was just leisure activities or traveling. Agnes will be very dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

Agnes is survived by her children: Ron Juergens and wife Kathy of Sullivan, MO, Nickie Parks and husband Rocky of Inman, SC, Bridget Hulsey and husband Jay of Bourbon, MO and Richard Juergens and wife Karen of Sullivan, MO; her step-children, Dan Price and wife Robin of Eureka, MO and Randy Price of Wentzville, MO; eleven grandchildren: Mandy Hovelmann and husband Matt of Union, MO, Jennifer Lindemeyer and husband Matt of Sullivan, MO, Kimberly Koch and husband Dustin of Sullivan, MO, Gage Parks of Boiling Springs, SC, Ian Parks and wife Shelby of Goldsboro, NC, Kyle Hulsey and wife Mary of Sullivan, MO, Garrett Hulsey and wife Melissa of Sullivan, MO, Paige Bloom and husband Pat of Affton, MO, Kristen Crump and husband Steve of Benton, AR, Samantha Sheldon and husband Ryan of Bourbon, MO and Kayla Riddle of Sullivan, MO; twenty great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward Schatz of Texas; two sisters, Mary Ellen Schafer and husband Wayne of Sullivan, MO and Marie Spencer of Florida; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Juergens; her husband, Harland Price; her parents, Richard and May; her stepson, Timothy Price; ten brothers: Louis, Lawrence, LeRoy, Leslie, Robert, Richard, Herbert, Jim, Al and Francis Schatz; and two sisters, Gertrude Newman and Virginia Blankenship.

Funeral Mass was celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan, with Father Paul Telken officiating. Interment followed in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Memorial contributions in Agnes’ memory may be made to St. Anthony Catholic School and/or the Alzheimer’s Association.
