Two Ejected From Motorcycle On I-44

Two people Aug. 10 were ejected from a motorcycle on Interstate 44 in Crawford County, suffering moderate injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred at the 205 mile-marker around 2:35 p.m. 

According to the patrol, a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 45-year-old woman from Buckeye, Arizona, switched lanes. 

The vehicle struck a 2024 Harley Davidson, driven by a 64-year-old De Soto man. 

The passenger was a 72-year-old De Soto woman.

Both were ejected and taken to the hospital for treatment. They were wearing safety devices.
