Boys Golf Returns Home For Strong Showing
Sullivan’s boys’ golf team swung back home for a dual meet and invitational.
The varsity Eagles beat Hermann by a score of 178 on Apr. 24. The Bearcats could not field a team score since they only had three golfers.
Carsen Dudley led the Eagles at 41, Chase Black and Braylon Strauser tied at 45, Easton Purvis posted a 47 and Spencer Thomure logged a 49.
The Eagles held their home invitational the following day and landed third out of ten teams. They finished with 224 points, behind St. James (217) and Borgia (220).
Dudley and Purvis medaled at second as a team, tallying 65 points.
Thomure and Strauser shot a 74, while Black and William Dean hit an 85.
