Boys Golf Tees Off At Birch Creek
Sullivan’s boys’ golf team swung their season into action on Thursday, Mar. 27. They faced off against Union and Pacific at Birch Creek, a nine-hole course with a par of 36.
The varsity Eagles were the runners-up with a score of 194. They placed behind the Wildcats (171) but soared past the Indians (211).
Carson Dudley was Sullivan’s highest finisher, ranking third individually and carding a 43. Union’s Peyton Hall (38) and Dalton Adkins (40) topped the leaderboards.
Easton Purvis posted a 48 for the Eagles. Braylon Strauser followed at 49, Chase Black shot a 54 and Spencer Thomure hit a 55.
William Dean led the junior varsity Eagles at 61. Jackson Woolley and Robby Garrett tied at 65, while Trenton Ahrens fired a 69.
