District Sets Calendar For 2025-26 School Year

The Crawford County R-1 School Board has set the calendar for the 2025-26 year.

The new school year will begin Tuesday, Aug. 19 and conclude on May 22, 2026.

Bourbon will continue to utilize a four-day school week and not be in session on Mondays.

Professional development days for staff will be held the third Monday of each month except November, December and January.

Hours will be from 7:45 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. at the high school.

The elementary and middle school will be in class from 7:53 a.m. to 3:43 p.m.

There are seven weather days built in.

Weather make-up days are March 9, April 6 and April 27, if needed.
