Volleyball Serves Up A Sweep Over Herky

Sullivan (11-11-1) kicked off their week with a rout over Herculaneum (14-5-1). On Monday, Oct. 7, they swept them in all three sets: 25-15, 25-9, 25-23.

The Lady Eagles won their seventh straight game over the Black Cats, with their last loss being in 2013.

Sullivan High School also hosted Serving Up a Cure night. The volleyball program raised $1,500 for Team Kaden.

Ava Blankenship led Sullivan with 25 attacks, 18 points and 14 kills. She also executed three blocks and an ace.

Karlee Head had a team-high 24 assists. She also spiked 6 attacks and a kill.

Sydney Montee served up a team-best four aces. She fired 6 attacks and 2 kills.

Stevi Saling dominated with 20 attacks, 11 points, 8 kills and 3 blocks.

Abby Record stacked up 14 attacks, 13 points, 9 kills, 3 blocks and an ace.

Allie Brune blasted 19 attacks, 7 points, 5 kills, an ace and a block.

Sydney Montee unleashed 6 attacks, 6 points, 4 aces and 2 kills.

Kelsie Hansel hammered 5 attacks and 2 kills.

Ava Todd assisted 10 scores, and landed 2 aces.

Chloe Carson drove in 2 points, ace, a block and an assist.

Andi Giebler and Trinity Midyett logged an assist.
