It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elise Helen Frolker, age 11, of Owensville, Mo. Elise was born on July 21, 2013, to Willie and Becky (Feth) Frolker and passed away on September 29, 2024. She was a bright and spirited 5th grader at Owensville Elementary School, where she played on the volleyball team and brought joy to her classmates and teachers alike.

 

 

Elise was an avid member of Drake 4-H, where she built a strong community in showing hogs and recently won Grand Champion at the State Fair with her boar, Blue. Her infectious smile could light up any room, and she was known for her playful spirit and love of being silly. Elise was cherished by many and was the best cousin anyone could ask for.

 

Elise had a passion for riding horses, farming, hunting, and fishing. She also enjoyed getting her nails done and shopping, always bringing a touch of fun to every outing.

 

She was preceded in death by her cousin Garrett Wayne Braun, her great aunt, Lucille Frolker, and her great-grandparents, Arthur & Virginia Voss, John & Helen Feth, Sam & Marguerite Thomeczek, and Bill & Sue Ann Frolker.

 

Elise is survived by her loving parents, Willie and Becky Frolker; her maternal grandparents, Francis and Janet Feth of Union; her paternal grandparents, Curt and Jane Frolker of Owensville; her aunts, Abby (Justin) Cox of Wentzville, Jennifer Placht of Union, and Brittany Feth of Union; her cousins, Austin Placht, Miller Cox, and Lucille Cox; and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

 

Elise’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends.

 

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.

 

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Shane Jarvis officiating.  Burial will be in Red Oak Cemetery near Rosebud.

 

Memorials requested for family’s choice.
