XC Country Brings Home Medals From St. James
Sullivan’s cross country team hit the Maramec Spring Park trail on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Both varsity and middle school runners brought home medals from the St. James Invitational.
Zechariah Beagle finished the highest for Sullivan’s varsity team. He placed 12th and clocked in at 18:59.5.
Jayson Summers was the 14th high school boy to cross the finish line and posted a time of 19:40.1.
Corena Brauninger won the middle school race with a time of 13:16.0.
Nahla Lambert medaled fifth for the junior high girls and completed the course in 14:14.0.
The varsity boys finished fourth out of eight teams, tallying 103 points.
The middle school girls placed second out of four squads, scoring 45.
The varsity girls and junior high boys did not rank.
