XC Country Competes At Gans Creek

The Sullivan High School cross country team faced statewide competition at the Gans Creek Classic on Saturday, Sept. 28. They competed in the blue/white junior varsity 5K division.

JV Boys

Jayson Summers was the  first runner to finish for Sullivan’s boys. He came in at 30th place, posting a time of 20:52.1.

Samuel Simington crossed the finish line at 60th with a time of 22:07.6.

Beau Jenkins placed 97th, clocking in at 23:34.7.

Austin Ray ranked 106th, completing the course in 23:40.9.

William Hunter took 130th (24:14.0), and Keegan Larrison finished 159th (26:03.8).

The junior varsity boys ranked 15th out of 18 teams, tallying 335 points.

JV Girls

Leeah Deleski was the first Lady Eagle to cross the finish line. She landed 43rd at a time of 25:29.2.

Gracie Edmonston ranked 102nd and clocked in at 29:06.1.

Jessica Redd placed 119th, completing the course in 30:50.6.

Abigail Erfurth took 150th (36:30.4), and Jordyn Tilford followed right behind (36:36.7).

The junior varsity girls rounded out the top eleven with 298 points.
