Lady Eagles Fall 8-4 To Wildcats

Sullivan’s (8-8) late rally against Union (13-4) fell short on Tuesday, Sept. 24. They dropped their first conference game of the season, losing 8-4.

Carli McCreary drove in a team-high 2 RBIs and recorded a hit. 

Molly Lohden led Sullivan with two hits and scored once.

Evelynn Harris took two walks and brought a runner home with an RBI.

Evvie Blankenship picked up a run, an RBI and a walk.

Dorie Richardson walked twice and punched in a score.

Ava Declue made a run and hit.

Rae Corwin executed a hit.

Blankenship started on the mound for Sullivan. She pitched two innings, giving up four hits, three earned runs and two walks.

Declue filled in for relief during the bottom of the third, striking out five batters. She surrendered six hits, two earned runs and two walks.
