Sandra Leigh Crider, 75, of Sullivan, Missouri, known affectionately to friends and family as Sandy, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. Born on December 12, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Brady and Bonnie (Hart) Williamson, Sandy was a beacon of love and faith throughout her life.

Sandy grew up in St. Charles, Missouri, where she attended local schools and graduated from Orchard Farms High School in 1966. Her life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her family, her work, and her community. Sandy was blessed to be the mother of three children, Corena, Kim, and Mark, and together they settled in Pacific, Missouri where her nurturing spirit flourished. She worked diligently for Huskey Corporation as a supervisor, demonstrating leadership and compassion in equal measure. Later, Sandy served her community as a clerk for the US Postal Service, where she was known for her warm smile and kind words.

In 1981, Sandy married the love of her love, Brad Crider and she would inherit another son, Nicholas. Sandy and Brad's shared dedication to service led them to found Loving Hearts ministry in Washington, Missouri. What began as a small operation from their home soon expanded into a warehouse that continues to operate today, helping to provide food and supplies to those in need. Her selfless nature found a profound expression through this ministry, touching countless lives over the years.

After running Loving Hearts for 25 years, the couple moved to Spring Bluff Children's Camp outside Sullivan, where they worked in camp ministry for several years. Their legacy of caring and service continued in this new chapter, as they impacted the lives of many children and families.

Sandy was a woman of deep faith, with a love for the Lord Jesus Christ that was the cornerstone of her life. She cherished reading the Bible and lived her beliefs through her actions every day. Her involvement with Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan was a reflection of her commitment to her faith and her community.

Those who knew Sandy would often find her pouring herself into helping others and caring for their needs. She enjoyed trips to Branson, where she could relax and reflect on the beauty of life. Sandy's legacy is one of love and service and she was a woman whose life was a living example of the words that best describe her: loving, faith-filled, and selfless. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide those she has left behind.
