XC Country Takes Off At Arnold
Sullivan’s cross country team fired off to a new year on Wednesday, Sept. 4. They started their season at the Fleet Fleet Classic, a two-mile run in Arnold City Park.
The varsity boys finished 18th with 508 points, while the junior varsity girls did not rank.
Varsity Boys
Zechariah Beagle was Sullivan’s top varsity boys finisher. He placed 54th at a time of 11:23.9.
Samuel Simington was the 153rd runner to cross the finish line. The sophomore recorded a time of 13:43.9.
William Hunter followed right afterward at 13:45.0 with a 154th-place finish.
Jayson Summers took 164th, clocking in at 14:06.4.
Beau Jenkins ranked 173rd at 14:32.2 in his first high school race.
Freshman Keegan Larrison finished 179th with a time of 16:05.7.
Junior Varsity Girls
Leeah Deleski placed the highest for the Lady Eagles at 63rd. She finished the course in 16:01.8.
Gracie Edmonston took 237th, completing the race at 19:41.1.
Jessica Redd crossed the finish line at 313rd with a time of 23:48.4.
Abigail Erfurth followed at 316th, clocking in at 24:18.6.
