Dayton Skaggs Commits To Crowley’s Ridge College
Dayton Skaggs will continue his baseball journey with the Pioneers. He will take his next step at the plate at Crowley’s Ridge College in Paragould, Arkansas.
Skaggs will never forget his time as an Eagle at Sullivan High School. His favorite memories are the district championships he played in. Skaggs helped the Eagles win two baseball titles and one football title.
During his senior year in baseball, Skaggs received all-district honors for excelling as a catcher. He was also awarded a second-team all-conference spot in wrestling and was named a second-team all-area linebacker in football.
This summer, he traveled with the Washington Post 218 AAA (18O) legion baseball team, playing with his brother, Isaiah.
Skaggs expressed gratitude towards those who have helped him throughout his career. He stated, “I would like to thank my parents for always supporting me in everything I do and helping [me] become the man and baseball player I am.” He also thanked his coaches in every sport for pushing him to be his best.
Now, Skaggs is ready for the next chapter of life at Crowley’s Ridge College and is excited to play “some great baseball.”
The Pioneers are a member of the American Midwest Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
