Donna J. Bremer, 80, of Manchester, MO, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024 at LifeCare Center of Sullivan.

Donna Jean Bremer was born on March 13, 1944 to Ernest and Dorothy (Hayes) Mann in Saint Louis, Missouri. Donna's early years were spent in the south side of the city where she attended grade school at Saint Wenceslaus. Later graduating from Saint Francis De Sales High School in 1962. Shortly thereafter, she embarked on a fulfilling career in the insurance industry. Her professional path led her from a local insurance company, where she met her lifelong best friend Jody Young, to prominent firms such as TransAmerica and Amerisure.

It was in 1990 that Donna's life took a joyful turn when she met Vaughn Bremer. The couple married on August 28, 1992, blending their lives and families together. Donna embraced her role as a stepmother to Vaughn's two children, Christylynett and Matthew, and together they settled in Manchester, creating a tapestry of cherished memories.

Throughout her 35-year tenure in the insurance industry, Donna witnessed significant milestones, including the construction of the iconic Saint Louis Arch. They also ventured to Hawaii, the Boeing Manufacturing Plant in Washington state, and a memorable trip to Israel in 2010.

Donna's passion for life extended to her love of sports. She was an avid supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed attending games with Vaughn. Her enthusiasm was equally evident at her grandchildren's sporting events, where she was a constant and cheering presence. Donna also enjoyed taking the grandchildren to visit Abraham Lincoln's Home in Illinois.

Donna and Vaughn faithfully attended services at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Chesterfield. There, she and Vaughn participated in various roles, most notably in the "Return to Bethlehem" production, where Donna's talent for engaging young audiences shone brightly. Donna also initiated preparing meals for everyone involved within the production.
