Nolie To Continue Rodeo Career At Northeastern Oklahoma A&M
“Ladies love cowboys,” is what Draysen Nolie says is the motivation that keeps him rodeoing after four years. He has no plans to stop and will continue doing what he loves at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College this fall.
He is excited about the opportunity ahead to become a Golden Norseman. “I’m looking forward to competing at the collegiate level and working with some of the best coaches in the nation,” Nolie stated. His rodeo team will be a part of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA).
On the education side, Nolie said, “I’m going to be pursuing a degree in agricultural business, and I hope this will help me with my pursuit of being a livestock auctioneer.”
Nolie was a proud member of his high school’s FFA club. He served as the Sullivan chapter president and the Area 14 president.
Nolie also had an incredible wrestling career for the Eagles. He was the district runner-up during his junior year and competed at state.
