Gary G. Aldridge, 59, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 24, 2024.

Gary was born on January 15, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri, to his parents, Alfred and Hilda (Scott) Aldridge. Gary attended various schools in St. Louis and graduated from Collinsville High School before embarking on a significant 32-year career with Chrysler. His commitment and dedication to his work were just as steadfast as his loyalty to his loved ones. Upon retiring in 2013, Gary relocated to Sullivan, where he cared for his mother with unwavering dedication and love.

Gary was a man of diverse interests, he was an avid sports enthusiast, content to watch any game, any day. He also enjoyed Fairmount Horse Races. Beyond sports, Gary liked the simple pleasures in life. He liked to indulge in playing slot machines, trying his luck with lottery tickets and he loved Imo’s pizza.

Family was the heart of Gary's world; he cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories with his loved ones. His role as the 'fun uncle' was one Gary embraced wholeheartedly, often seen taking his nieces and nephews out to sporting events, concerts, and fun-filled days at Six Flags. These outings were not only highlights for the children but for Gary as well, as he found immense happiness in their shared laughter and excitement.

Gary was funny, witty, and never met a stranger. He was equally generous, known among friends and family for his selflessness and for his willingness to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Gary is survived by his mother, Hilda Pearman of Sullivan, Missouri; three loving siblings: Jerry Aldridge of De Soto, Missouri, Terri Campbell and husband Greg of Destin, Florida and Tammy Aldridge of Sullivan, Missouri; nine nieces and nephews: Jamie Bone and husband Adam, Kerri Kelly and husband Mickey, Dylan Tesreau and wife Farrah, Corey Aldridge, Cassi Aldridge, Jerry Aldridge, Tiffany Ritchie and fiancé James Smith, Timothy Corpus and Michael Walden and wife Heather; numerous great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
