Vincent M. Bray, age 38, passed away on May 30, 2024, in Sullivan, Missouri.

Vincent Michael Bray was born on August 6, 1985, in St. Louis, Missouri, and later moved to Sullivan where he attended the Sullivan School District. Vince’s heart led him to his beloved wife, Nicole Rowen, in 2004, and the two were united in marriage on October 28, 2006. To this union they were blessed with three children: Antwaun, Autumn, and Allison. Together, they created a home in Sullivan and began the journey of nurturing their family.

Vince’s dedication to his loved ones reflected within his never ending work ethic. While residing in the Sullivan community Vince worked for various businesses such as Gateway, Aerofil and ADB. Seeking broader horizons, in 2011 Vince moved to Hoxie, Kansas, where he became a heavy equipment operator for the Foote Cattle Company. He later moved back to Sullivan in 2017, where he continued his craft with Gateway before embarking on a career within IBEW Local 2 and later with Local 513.

Vince had a profound love for fishing, playing cornhole, and relishing the beauty of Missouri’s landscapes. His favorite moments were often spent by the Meramec River or side by side riding, exploring nature. An artist at heart, Vince could draw anything within his imagination.

He was creative, funny, and the epitome of selflessness. Vince had the unique ability to form instant connections with anyone he met. Whether sharing his infectious humor or the very shirt off his back, he remained a steadfast provider, generous spirit, and a genuinely caring soul. With his passing, Vince leaves behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories for all who were blessed to know him.

Vincent is survived by his loving wife, Nicole of Sullivan, his children: Antwaun, Autumn, and Allison Bray all of Sullivan; his mother, Debra Bray of Sullivan; his father, Lawrence Bray, Sr., of Sullivan; his brothers: Lawrence Bray Jr., and wife, Shakara of Bourbon, Jonathon Volkert, Kristopher Bray, and Kevin Umfress and wife, Jessi all of Sullivan; a sister, Aylicia Mickow of Sullivan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
