Youth Learn Football At SHS Camp

The Sullivan High School football program hosted a youth camp, sponsored by Valvoline Express Care, for incoming 1st-6th graders from May 29-30.

The Eagle players taught the students the fundamentals of football. They did drills with the youth that showed the mechanics behind throwing, catching, tackling, blocking and running. However, the biggest lesson that the kids learned was that anybody can take on the gridiron with enough effort and dedication.

Sullivan’s football team will be back in action at home for the Gridiron Classic on Thursday, June 27 at 6 p.m.
