Sullivan Hosting Friday Night Take Down Hunger Scramble On Jan. 12

The Friday Night Take Down Hunger Scramble will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, at Sullivan High School. The five competing teams are Sullivan, Central Park Hills, Osage, Dexter and St. James.

For admission, you can get in for free if you bring in a canned food item to support “Takedown Hunger.” For other options, it is $3 for adults and $2 for students, and those aged 60 and older can go in for free.

First Round:

• Mat 1: Sullivan vs. Central Park Hills
• Mat 2: Osage vs. Dexter

Second Round:

• Mat 1: Sullivan vs. Dexter
• Mat 2: Central Park Hills vs. St. James
• Youth wrestling team will be recognized once the duals are done

Third Round:

• Mat 1: St. James vs. Dexter
• Mat 2: Sullivan vs. Osage

Fourth Round:

• Mat 1: St. James vs. Osage
• Mat 2: Central Park Hills vs. Dexter

Fifth Round:

• Mat 1: Sullivan vs. St. James
• Mat 2: Central Park Hills vs. Osage

Mat 1 is closest to the banner wall and Mat 2 is close to the flag wall.
