Girls Basketball Falls To Warrenton, 53-39

Girls basketball (2-3) lost 53-39 at home against Warrenton (3-1) on Monday, Dec. 4. Sullivan entered this game on a high note after finishing in 3rd place at the Fountain City Classic the previous weekend and winning their placement game in overtime.

Hayli Venable delivered another star-studded performance, leading the team with 12 points along with 2 rebounds, a steal, a block and a 3-4 record on free throws.

Cora Shetley dominated with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block, tallying up 4 points with a perfect 2-2 on foul shots and 1-2 on field goals.

Molly Lohden picked up 7 points, 4 rebounds and a steal.

Kynlee Peterson contributed 5 points, going 2-2 on field goals and 1-4 on free throws and also grabbed 2 rebounds.

Raegan Johnson scored 5 points along with a rebound and a steal.

Delaney George executed 3 points, 3 rebounds and a steal.

Avery Merkel delivered 3 points, along with 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

Karlee Head secured 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.
