Darrell worked with great dedication for 30-years with Local #513 Operators Union. He was fond of his career, he was always enthusiastic about discussing heavy equipment, displaying his wisdom in every conversation.
Beyond his work and family, Darrell had many interests that made him the man he was. He was a car enthusiast and loved hotrods. Many afternoons were spent at car shows. His friends, recognizing his passion, would often burn out in their cars in front of his house, an event Darrell always looked forward to. Moreover, the great outdoors held a special place in his heart. From boating to four-wheeling, Darrell embraced every adventure.
Frequently, Darrell could be found unwinding in his shop during the evenings. Friends and acquaintances knew they were always welcome when the shop's light was on, inviting them to join him for a beer and engaging conversation. Darrell was loved deeply by his family and will never be forgotten.
