Volleyball Shuts Down St. James In All Three Sets

St. James proved to be no challenge for the Lady Eagles as they shut them out in all three sets, with scores of 25-14, 25-20 and 25-12.

Ava Blankenship led the team with 20 attacks, 14 kills and 2 blocks. Delaney George had 5 aces and Ava Todd contributed the most assists with 17.

Abby Record delivered 13 attacks, 5 kills, 9 points and 3 aces. Allie Brune showcased her skills with 10 points and 2 aces. Stevi Saling contributed with 12 attacks, 4 kills and a block. Raegan Johnson came away with 11 kills, 9 assists, 8 points and an ace. Emily Clonts racked up 9 attacks, 5 points, 4 kills and an ace.

The first match was tied at 5-5 until Blankenship’s kill secured Sullivan’s victory with a score of 25-14.

St. James stayed neck-and-neck with the Lady Eagles during the second set but Sullivan rose on top to a 25-20 win.

In the final set, Abby Record’s ace was the last point of the night and sealed the Lady Eagles’ victory at 25-12.
