Marion “John” Osborn

Marion “John” Osborn, 83 of Cuba, MO passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Sylvia Thompson Residential Center, Sedilia, MO.
John as he was known was born on June 18, 1939 in Cuba, MO to the late Elmer L. and Mamie Esther (West) Osborn. He was employed by the former Chrysler Corporation in Fenton for 29 years. Upon his retirement in 1990, John went to work for Oats Transportation and drove for them for 25 years. On May 17, 1997 John was united in marriage to Delilah Redmond and they enjoyed 25 years together. John never met a stranger. He was very witty and a great storyteller. He was known for his chili and home-made ice cream. When he was a young man, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved old cars. He also enjoyed cutting grass, cutting wood and drinking Pepsi. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
John is survived by his wife, Delilah Osborn of Cuba, MO; six children, Marian Jean (Jeanie) Remley and husband Matthew of Michigan, Randall Osborn and wife Cassandra of Kingsville, MO, Douglas Osborn and wife Jessica of Crookston, Minnesota, Shayna Arndt of Jefferson City, MO, Holly Arndt of Highlands, Texas, Veronica Lin-Han and husband Steve of Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren, Zachariah and Aaron Remley, Kyle and Lane Osborn, Josh, Bradley, Caden, Emma, Colton and Cutler Osborn; three great-grandchildren, Jaella, Ryker and Jasper Osborn; one sister, Erma Schmidt Osborn and husband Dale of Rocky Mount, MO; mother in law, Linda Goins; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by two sisters, Elva Tyree and husband Rosco and Jean Cuneio and husband Floyd.
Arrangements for cremation have taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later dated.
All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO.
