Sullivan Man Crashes Into Concrete Barrier

A Sullivan man had moderate injuries Monday when he crashed into a concrete barrier on Interstate 44
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said James O. Pender, 63, was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
He was westbound at the 246 mile-marker in a 2016 Kia Sedona when he tried to avoid another vehicle, over-corrected and struck the barrier.
He was wearing a seat belt.
