James ‘Jimmy’ Hendricks

ames “Jimmy” Hendricks, age 50 of Bourbon, MO, passed away Sunday, Novem- ber 6, 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Phelps County.

Jimmy was born March 31, 1972, in Jefferson City, a son to the late James and Shirley (Parkhurst) Hendricks.

Jimmy grew up in Eldon, MO, and was a 1990 graduate of Eldon High School.

On November 4, 1995, he was united in marriage to Kara Shoemaker in Fanning, MO. She survives of the home.

Jimmy was employed with the Sullivan School District for many years. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys and the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved spending quality time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 27 years, Jimmy is survived by: two daughters, Emylee (Alicia) “Hendricks” Bott of Union, MO, and Elly Hen- dricks of Bourbon; one son, Isaiah Hendricks of Bourbon; three brothers Mark (Bonnie), Frank (Denell) and Roger (Michelle) Hendricks all of Eldon, MO as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by two nephews, Andrew Hen- dricks, and Elijah Shoemaker.

A Celebration of Jimmy’s

life will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Novem- ber 26, 2022, at the Bourbon Community Center, 575 Elm St. Bourbon, MO.

In lieu of flowers expres- sions of sympathy may be made to the Hendricks family.
