Sandra Wright

Sandra Earlene Wright (James) of Sullivan, MO passed away at the age of 74 Saturday, September 3, 2022.
Sandra Earlene was born in St. Louis July 19, 1947 to Lee Christopher James and Betty Fisher. She later became a Sullivan student. On June 29, 1970 she was united in marriage to Wilbur (Woody) Leon Wright, and to this union they were blessed with three kids, Robert Leon, James Edd, and Lisa Dawn. As a family they resided in the Bourbon/Sullivan area. Sandra worked at Paramount Headwear in the early years and as a private seamstress for many, including making Potosi’s cheerleading and band uniforms. Her jobs went from there to SDC, Inc. for 22 years to Orco Tool in Cuba to Cracker Barrel’s your evening prep cook to a cashier at the Dollar Tree. She was a very hard worker and a woman who put heart and soul into everything and everyone. Always was there when someone needed her to be or just wanted an ear, she was there. Even her kid’s friends became her “adopted kids” as some even called her “Momma Wright”. She had a passion for fishing, weekends at Lost Valley Lake Resort where she would be found with that fishing pole (or two) in hand.
She is survived by her son James Edd Wright and her daughter, Lisa Dawn Wright both of the family home. Eleven grandchildren including three of the family home, Christopher, Jason and Alex Spangler.Two sisters, Betty Johnson of Cuba, MO and Pam Hilse of Yuma, AZ.
She’s preceded in death of her son, Robert Leon Wright, her husband, Wilbur (Woody) Leon Wright, her parents, Lee Christopher James and Betty Fisher James, and her three brothers, Lee Christopher James Jr., William Albert James and Jesse Lee James.
Upon her cremation, Sandra was laid to rest in private ceremony.
