Albert T. Renshaw

Albert Theodore Renshaw, 80, of Sullivan, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

Albert, son of Jesse Renshaw and wife Emily Louise (Hayes), was born November 13, 1941, in Carmi, Illinois.

Albert was united in marriage to Brenda (Schafferkoetter) in Sullivan on October 13, 1979.

He was big fan of Facebook and watching outdoor cooking shows, he loved taking long drives with his wife Brenda to see wildlife and take in all of nature. Most of all he loved to tell stories and talk to people, especially his riders on the O.A.T.S. bus.

Albert was employed for forty years at the Ford Assembly Plant where he worked as a supervisor.  After his retirement he drove the O.A.T.S bus for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Louise Renshaw; two brothers, John Renshaw and Norman Renshaw; one sister, Gloria “Susie” PendIno.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Renshaw of Sullivan; one son, Keith Renshaw and wife Tracey of St. James; three daughters, Kristine Sprauer and husband Bill of New Jersey, Bonnie Jones and husband Charles of Rosebud, Teri Lee and husband Anthony of California; two brothers, Mike Renshaw and wife Elizabeth of Union, and Shannon Kent Renshaw of Cuba; five sisters, Sandy Bowen and husband Jim of Bowling Green, Joan Reeds of Illinois, Carla Gross and husband Nick of Illinois, Jada Sumner and husband Barry of Washington, and Patricia Gail Baker of Illinois; eight grandchildren, Brian Renshaw, Shannon Enloe, Mark Swallows, Brayden Enloe, Melissa Enloe, Samantha Enloe, Caitlyn Lee and Madison Lee; eleven great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends.

No services will be held.
