Woodrow L. King

Woodrow “Woody” L. King, formally of Bourbon, MO, passed away in Salinas, CA on October 5, 2020. 

He was survived by his wife Janet, who then passed on December 31, 2020. He is survived by his brothers: Dan, Gary, and Roger and his sister Diana. He is also survived by his three children: Kevin King, Kimberly Carlson and Kara Sella. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Woody and his family moved to California in 1962, where he had various jobs, and then went to work for the Coachella Valley Water District. He worked there for 18 years then retired in 1981.

He enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling and fixing anything he could get his hands on.

Woody’s family held a memorial service for him on Tuesday October 5, 2021, at the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Leasburg, MO at 10 a.m.
