Sullivan, Blair Oaks Set For Friday's Class 3 Softball Semifinal

Sullivan and Blair Oaks will meet on Friday at 2 p.m. in the MSHSAA Class 3 semifinal.

The winner advances to Saturday's championship game against either Perryville or Chillicothe.

Sullivan is coming off a 7-0 win over Logan-Rogersville in the quarterfinal. Blair Oaks dumped Fulton. 

The Lady Eagles are looking to repeat as champions. No team in Class 3 has won two straight titles since Warrenton did it in 2015-2016. The Warriors captured the second title against Sullivan.

Sullivan is appearing in the Final Four for the fourth straight year and fifth time in six seasons. The last time they failed to make the Final Four was in 2017, when Monett stopped them in the quarterfinals.

No team has appeared in the Class 3 Final Four as many times as Sullivan over the last half decade. They settled for second in 2016, third in 2018 and second in 2019 before finally breaking through for last season's state title.
