Janet Sauchegeraw

Janet Louise Sauchegeraw, 71, of Leasburg, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Saint James Living Center.
Janet was born on August 3, 1949 in Potosi, Missouri, to Floyd and Bertha (Lampkey) Belfield. She grew up and attended school in the Potosi area. After graduation, she was married to her first husband, Walter Mackley. To this union they were blessed with two children, Brian and Walter. Sadly, they later divorced.
Janet was a very devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was a faithful Christian woman who enjoyed spending time in God’s word and leading Bible studies. She liked to be outdoors, gardening and finding crystals. She also loved cooking, baking and quilting.
Janet is survived by one of her sons, Brian Mackley, of Leasburg, MO; six grandchildren: Alysia, James, Cory, Michael, Lindsey and Courtney; four great-grandchildren: Mason, Emma, Evelyn and Makayla; two brothers, Charlie & Gene Belfield, both of Sullivan, MO; as well as other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Walter Mackley; her parents, Floyd and Bertha Belfield; a brother, Kenneth Belfield; and a sister-in-law, Fairy Belfield.
Arrangements for cremation have taken place. No services are planned at this time.
