O’Fallon Man Arrested, 80 Grams Of Methamphetamine Seized
An O'Fallon man has been charged after approximately 80 grams of methamphetamine was seized, along with paraphernalia and money during a traffic stop in Crawford County.
Mark Williams, 36, faces one count of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic charges.
According to Crawford County Sheriff Darin Layman, a deputy initiated a traffic stop for improper registration in the Cuba area. Williams, who had several warrants for his arrest, was taken into custody.
A small amount of suspected narcotics was discovered on his person.
Crawford County's K9 deputy Leo did a free air sniff of the vehicle, which gave probable cause for a search.
"Great job to K9 Leo and our deputies for their diligent work to provide continued safety to the community," Layman said in a press release.
