County Reports 18 New COVID-19 Cases, Update On Vaccine Resources
Franklin County’s COVID-19 numbers continue to decline.
The county reported 18 new cases on Wednesday.
Hospitalizations have dropped to eight.
Twenty-five active cases are in long-term care facilities.
Franklin County has averaged 31 cases per day over the last 14 days.
The 10-day rolling total is 292.
The seven-day positivity rate is 12.1%.
In an effort to quickly vaccinate as many Missourians as possible the state has selected hospitals within all regions to receive just over half of the weekly allocations from the federal government through the end of this month. The providers that have been selected have the capacity to administer 5,000 doses weekly. The facilities in the region that will be getting the largest amount of doses are noted with a star (***) below.
Approximately 23% of vaccine allocation will be used for mass vaccination events throughout the state.
The amount of vaccine that health departments, pharmacies and FQHC's receive will be limited during this time.
If you have not already signed up with the selected hospitals or mass vaccination events now would be the time to do so.
