Zeola I. Sohn
Zeola I. “Zee” Sohn, 92, of Stanton, MO, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Zee was born November 30, 1927 in Franklin County, MO, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Whaley) Randleman. She was united in marriage to Clyde E. Sohn on January 12, 1946 in St. Clair, MO and two sons, Rolland and Roger, were born to their union. Zee was employed in several shoe factories, including International Shoe, Fashion Shoe, Mid-West Shoe Company and Meramec Group. She retired in 1980. Zee enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Stanton.
Zee is survived by her two sons, Ron Sohn and wife Joyce of Union, MO and Roger Sohn and wife Robin of Sullivan, MO; three grandchildren: Brian Sohn and wife Missy of Washington, MO, Kevin Sohn of Union, MO and Jason Sohn of Twin Oaks, MO; two great-grandchildren, Molly and Logan Sohn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Sohn; granddaughter, Rebecca Sohn; parents, Henry and Mary (Whaley) Randleman; two brothers, Carl and Elmer Randleman; and four sisters: Mary Graham, Dorothy Spindler, Mary Martin and Blanche Binsbacher.
Funeral services were 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Stanton, MO, officiated by Pastor Bob Schneider. Interment followed in Stanton Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2020 at Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
