Patriots Slow Down Eagles

Sullivan got off to a fast start against Parkway South, but they faded over the final three quarters and suffered their first defeat on Friday.

The Patriots allowed 16 points in the first quarter, then limited Sullivan to 15 points. They cruised to a 47-31 victory.

Jordan Woodcock scored 13 points for the Eagles (4-1), who jumped out to a 16-6 lead.

The offense dried up in the second and third quarters, scoring just five points combined.

6-10 forward Isaiah Esker scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Patriots. He recorded seven offensive rebounds. 

Esker was 8-for-11 from the field while the rest of his teammates were 11-for-36.

Owen Farrell scored eight points and Kolton Keen added seven points.

Jacob Hatcher scored three.
