Police Respond To Bomb Threat
Sullivan Police were called to Wal-Mart Super Center, 350 Park Ridge Drive, Thursday, November 21, at 11:15 p.m after the business received a bomb threat.
The business received a call from a male suspect stating, “there was a bomb in the electronics department of the store,” the suspect then hung up the phone.
Sullivan Police responded to the business and made contact with the St. Louis County bomb unit in case assistance was needed.
Sullivan Police conducted an extensive search of the business and determine that there was not a bomb inside the business.
The store was allowed to resume normal business hours after the search was concluded.
