Sullivan Regional Airport 10th Annual Fly-In This Saturday
The Sullivan Regional Airport will host its 10th annual Fly-In on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a number of events going on for children and adults.
The family-friendly event will include: a car show, free airplane rides for children ages 8-17, craft and vendors on the grounds, music, fire, police and emergency services conducting public relations activities, ARCH Helicopter Tour and Tom Cline Helicopter rides.
The Show-Me Barnstormers Flying Club EAA Chapter 1402 will host the free plane rides for children that have been a tremendous success over the past nine years with children getting their first chance to experience flight.
The car show will bring a trophied event to the Sullivan Regional Airport with registration cost of $15 and trophies awarded at noon.
Sullivan Chamber of Commerce, which will operate a food booth and handle craft/vendor booths, will also be in attendance and can be reached at 573-468-3314.
Those wishing to have a craft or vendor booth are encouraged to contact the chamber for available space.
