Sullivan Entrance and Exit Ramps Will Have New Look Due To MoDot Project
Motorists traveling on westbound Interstate 44 on Friday may have noticed construction crews from N.B. West removing trees and debris and filling in the slopes of the westbound exit ramp with large rock.
The work is all part of the $17,947,686.93 project awarded to N.B. West for pavement improvements from Route 30 and I-44 to the Crawford County line.
According to Missouri Department of Transportation Area Engineer Judy Wagner, the project which began in summer of 2018, will continue through the fall of 2019 with the Sullivan east and west overpasses receiving upgrades to the slopes due to guardrail requirement standards that are now in place.
