Miller Charged With Second-Degree Murder In Overdose Death
Charges were filed Feb. 7 in the drug overdose death of a Sullivan man in October 2016.
Nathaniel Miller, 24, faces second-degree murder, possession with intent to distribute and tampering with a witness charges. Miller is alleged to have knowingly provided Jared Courtney, 28, with fentanyl on Oct. 30, 2016. Courtney was found deceased Oct. 31 at a residence in the 500 block of Sonya Lane.
According to the probable cause statement, Miller wrote numerous letters to an inmate at the Franklin County Jail with instructions to assault the victim's sister.
