Woman Rescued From Vehicle Submerged In Water
Gerald-Rosebud Fire said Monday night a woman was rescued from a car submerged in water.
According to the district, firefighters were dispatched to the area of Danz Road and Hafertafe Road.
The victim was outside the vehicle, clinging to the door of the car and waist deep in quick moving water.
The district said firefighters, Gerald Ambulance and a deputy with the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office made contact. Fire personnel threw her a rope bag and pulled her to shore.
The victim was unharmed.
If there is water over a low-crossing, do not try and cross.
Turn around and don’t drown.
