Woman Accused Of Sending Threatening Messages, Explicit Photos To Probation Officer

A Steelville woman was arrested Friday after allegedly sending threatening messages and explicit photos to her probation officer.

Aquarius L. Humphrey, 36, has been charged with tampering with a judicial officer, non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images, tampering with physical evidence and peace disturbance.

She is scheduled to appear in court March 9.

Humphrey is accused of using Text Now to block her number and send the threatening message.

The explicit photos Humphrey sent were of her boyfriend’s ex-wife.

Humphrey is accused of wiping data from her phone as law enforcement narrowed their search to her being the suspect.

More on this story will be available in the March 8 issue of the Independent News.
