Warming Centers In Sullivan Announced

 

As Franklin, Crawford and surrounding counties fall under a Winter Storm Warning - the forecast including wind gusts as high as 45 mph, wind chills as low a -35ºF, and heavy snow - warming centers in Sullivan have been announced for those in need of shelter. Both the Sullivan Regional Library and the Sullivan Police Department (staffed 24/7) will both be open to the public.

City Administrator J.T. Hardy has assured residents that the Community Center or other facilities who have generators available could be opened as an emergency warming centers should there be a widespread, extended power outage across the City of Sullivan. City social media sites and local media stations will announce if and when those additional centers are needed.
