Vacant Home Damaged In Suspicious Fire As Authorities Encourage Public To Be Alert

Sullivan Fire District Fire Marshal Corey Rice is asking the public to stay vigilant and keep eyes on vacant homes within our community following a second house fire believed to be suspicious in as many weeks.
Rice spoke with the Sullivan Independent News regarding a house fire at 131 Donald St. Tuesday morning, August 16, at 6:38 a.m.
Rice stated that the cause of the fire was incendiary in nature and remains under investigation.
