Union Woman Injured In Double Overturn Accident On Highway 47

A Union woman had moderate injuries in a late night crash involving two vehicles Sunday on Highway 47.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Ashley Elmore, 27, was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
Both vehicles in the accident overturned.
According to the patrol, Elmore was traveling in a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox.
A 1998 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Paul Wallace, 38, St. Clair, began to pass the Elmore vehicle. As he was passing, Elmore began to turn left, traveling into the path of Wallace’s truck.
The front right of Wallace’s truck struck the rear left corner of Elmore’s vehicle, which spun around and overturned.
The impact also caused Wallace’s vehicle to overturn.
