Two Truckers Injured In Accident East Of Sullivan

Two truck drivers had moderate injuries in a crash Thursday morning on Interstate 44, east of Sullivan.
The crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. near the 227 mile marker.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a 2016 Freightliner, driven by Mohamed Siad, 46, Columbus, Ohio, struck a 2014 International Harvester, driven by Christopher Frisby, 34, Rolla.
The highway patrol said Frisby was stopped due to an accident ahead. Siad was reportedly inattentive.
Both drivers were taken to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.
They were both wearing seat belts.
