Two Killed In Collision In Crawford County
Two people were killed on Tuesday in a crash at the intersection of Highway 19 and Highway CC in Crawford County.
Steven Cook, 60, Bland, and Sharon M. Cook, 59, Bland, died.
Steven was pronounced at the scene, while Sharon succumbed to her injuries at 4:41 p.m. at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 2:50 p.m.
Steven Cook was southbound on Highway 19, traveling on a 2016 Harley Davidson.
A 2017 Subaru Outback, driven by Patrice M. Davis, 60, Cuba, was on Highway F, preparing to cross Highway 19 to Highway CC.
Davis’ vehicle traveled into Cook's path. He collided into the left side of her her vehicle.
Steve and Sharon, who were not wearing safety devices, were ejected from the motorcycle.
Davis’ vehicle spun clockwise and went off Highway 19. It crashed into a state sign support.
She had minor injuries and traveled to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a safety device.
