Two Juveniles Deceased In Waynesville Fire

Two Waynesville juveniles died Wednesday night following a fire at a Pulaski County home.

According to Waynesville Fire, the fire began around 6:02 p.m. on Host Drive.

Firefighters were dispatched to a fully-involved structure fire with people possibly entrapped.

Two victims had made it out of the residence, but two more were still inside.

Fire personnel entered the home to perform a search and rescue and two victims were pulled out.

The juvenile victims were taken to a hospital in Fort Leonard Wood where they were pronounced deceased.

Another juvenile was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

An adult male was taken to Phelps Health.

Firefighters brought the fire under control around 7 p.m.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is conducting the investigation.

Waynesville Fire, St. Robert Fire, Fort Leonard Wood Fire and ambulance from Pulaski County and Dixon worked the scene.

Waynesville Fire asks to keep the family, firefighters and emergency medical personnel in their thoughts.
