Two Charged With Child Pornography Possession In Task Force Investigation
Two people were charged in July with child pornography possession following investigations by the South Central Computer Crime Task Force.
Jerrion P. Stringer, 25, Lebanon, was charged on July 20 with 15 counts of possessing child pornography.
Jarod N. Reith, 26, Rolla, was charged July 26 with four counts.
Stringer
The investigation into Stringer was keyed by an internet service provider (ISP) alerting the task force that suspected pornography was uploaded and saved.
Stringer had residences in both Pulaski and Laclede counties.
The task force authorized the search records of his cloud data storage.
The Lake Area Cyber Crimes Task Force and ICAC Illinois Internet Child Exploitation Task Force also were involved in the investigation.
The Illinois task force identified two minor child victims.
Stringer is being investigated for other offenses in Illinois.
Reith
Reith came under investigation after an ISP alerted the tip line of suspected pornography.
The task force used a search warrant to search the account and found evidence.
Law enforcement responded to the 500 block of West 15th Street in Rolla and seized a USB thumb drive containing additional evidence of pornography.
