Tractor Trailer Strikes Car On Shoulder, Drives Away

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said an unknown tractor trailer struck a car that was parked on the shoulder of Interstate 44 in Phelps County and drove away.
A Cuba man that was an occupant in the vehicle had minor injuries.
According to the patrol, the crash happened Sunday at 2:12 a.m. at the 172 mile marker.
A 2002 Audi A4 ran out of fuel and was stopped on the shoulder.
The tractor trailer struck the car and continued on.
Dalas S. Brown, 28, Cuba, was taken to Phelps Health in Rolla for treatment.
The highway patrol does not know the name of the driver of the vehicle that Brown was sitting in.
The Audi had total damage from the collision.
