Teen Injured In Overturn Accident

A teen had serious injuries early Saturday morning when a vehicle overturned on Jakes Prairie Road in Franklin County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was unable to list a residence for the teen, who was identified in the accident report as a 15-year-old male.

The teen was the passenger in a 2011 Nissan Rogue that went off the road and overturned around 12:50 a.m. near Shawnee Ford Road.

Neither the driver or the passenger were wearing safety devices.

The driver, a 16-year-old Sullivan male, was uninjured. 

The passenger was taken by private vehicle to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.
