Sullivan Teen Falls Asleep Behind Wheel, Strikes Trees

A Sullivan teen had minor injuries Friday when she fell asleep behind the wheel and struck multiple trees on Highway K in Franklin County.
Per Missouri State Highway Patrol policy, the teen’s name was withheld.
The highway patrol said the accident occurred at 11:45 p.m.
The teen was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, which received moderate damage.
She was taken by private conveyance to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.
